FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in control systems of internal combustion engines (ICE). Methods and systems are proposed for controlling the charge pressure in a multistage system of pressurization of an internal combustion engine containing a turbocharger and an electrocharger located upstream therefrom. In one example, the method may comprise matching the operation of the electrocharger and the bypass valve of the electrocharger and opening the bypass valve of the electrocharger in order to reduce the excess boost pressure generated by the electrocharger.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to quickly and accurately regulate the boost pressure created by the superchargers, depending on the required engine torque.
