FIELD: shut-off devices.

SUBSTANCE: adjustable magnetic safety valve comprises a valve body with an opening, a seat, a pivotally connected gate resting on the seat in the closed position, a magnet. A guide bushing is mounted to the valve body, inside which a movable stem is mounted, oriented orthogonally to the shutter hinge and configured to move along the guide bushing. The proximal end of the stem is located outside the valve, and the distal end of the stem is located inside the valve under the closure. A permanent magnet is mounted at the distal end of the stem directly under the gate. The rod is adapted for adjustable movement of the magnet under the shutter perpendicular to the hinge axis of the shutter to change the position of the magnet and the lever for applying the magnet force to the shutter and thereby the value of the medium pressure at which the valve shutter is actuated.

EFFECT: relief of excess pressure in the pipeline without its destruction.
