FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an inhaler and a dose counter mechanism in the inhaler. Inhaler is configured to tear off the covering tape from the blister strips using a device for opening blisters and subsequent delivery of a powdered drug in an amount of one dose into space, intended for inhalation through the drug inhalation hole. Inhaler includes a dose counter mechanism designed to indicate the remaining number of doses of a medicament individually packaged using a blister strip, coupled with device for opening blisters during its operation. Dose counter mechanism includes dose counter dial, having a rear surface, on which a gear in the form of a coiled rack is arranged, and a front surface, on which the numbers reflecting the number of the remaining doses of the drug are arranged in a row along the spiral configuration and are presented along the gear in the form of a coiled rack. Dose counter mechanism has a drive gear engaged with a gear in the form of a toothed rack coiled into a spiral and made with possibility of rotation in constant direction simultaneously with operation of blister opening device.
EFFECT: simple and compact design of a dose counter mechanism.
