METHOD OF PERIOPERATIVE ANESTHESIA WITH NEFOPAM FOR MAJOR SURGICAL INTERVENTIONS ON ORGANS OF PANCREATODUODENAL ZONE Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B17/00 A61M5/14 A61K31/395 A61P23/00

Abstract RU 2797109 C1

FIELD: medicine, surgery, anesthesiology and oncology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for perioperative anesthesia during extensive surgical interventions on the organs of the pancreatoduodenal zone. Patients with contraindications to epidural analgesia and with chronic pain syndrome 30 minutes before the skin incision are injected intravenously with 20 mg of nefopam for 15 minutes and 30 minutes before the end of the surgery — 20 mg for 15 minutes. Then, after the surgery, the administration of nefopam is continued every 4 hours at a dose of 20 mg, as an intravenous infusion over 15 minutes, for a total of 120 mg per day for 72 hours after the surgery, including non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

EFFECT: method provides improved immediate results of surgical treatment of patients with tumors of the pancreatoduodenal zone by improving the quality of perioperative analgesia with contraindications to epidural analgesia, reducing the need for opioid analgesics and reducing the risk of postoperative complications in radical surgical treatment, as well as the use of prolonged opioid-free analgesia in chronic pain syndrome.
