FIELD: histology; histological technique.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the practice of pathological laboratories. The method for preparing a bone tissue preparation with implanted metal for histological examination includes its fixation in a 10 vol% formalin solution, rinsing under running water, dilution in ascending concentration alcohols, decalcification, preparation of sections with immersion in liquid nitrogen and staining, differs in that that a sample of bone tissue with implanted metal ranging in size from 0.5 to 1 cm3 after decalcification is first placed in a thermostat and heated to 37°C for 15 minutes, and then immersed in a container with liquid nitrogen for 5 minutes, after which microsections with a thickness of 5 to 10 microns are made in a cryostat microtome, which are thawed in a laboratory vacuum dryer at a pressure of 75 kPa, a temperature of 24°C for 10 minutes and stained with hematoxylin and eosin.
EFFECT: invention provides obtaining high-quality bone tissue samples with implanted metal, which allow assessing the degree of osseointegration at the metal-bone interface.
