SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used in treating periodontitis and peri-implantitis, and for preventing inflammation in the oral cavity. Disclosed ozonized solution of colloidal silver for impregnation of absorbable suture intended for introduction into periodontal and/or peri-implant pockets in treatment of periodontitis and peri-implantitis, is characterized by the fact that it contains β-tricalcium phosphate and sodium polyphosphate and is obtained using the following ratio of components, wt.%: Colloidal silver plus solution of colloidal silver with silver concentration of 20 ppm, containing zero-valent metallic silver in nanoform: 50, β-tricalcium phosphate: 30, sodium polyphosphate: 10, ozonised water: 10.

EFFECT: use of the solution of said composition enables to reduce the number of periodontal pathogenic types of microorganisms in the periodontal and/or peri-implant pocket, provides enhanced osteogenesis of the bone tissue of the alveolar bone, reduced recurrence rate, reduced length of treatment and improved quality of life in patients with periodontitis and peri-implantitis.
