FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to methods for producing friction products. A freely poured layer of friction material is applied and prebaked onto a steel carrier base, additionally compacted by pressing with a stamping tool with an applied forming profile to form oil scraper grooves and grooves with a depth of 5.0-5.5 times less than the thickness of a loosely poured layer.
EFFECT: minimizing the deformation of the steel base of the friction disk, reducing the number of defective products and increasing the service life of the friction disk.
