FIELD: manufacture of friction products.
SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing friction products includes applying and preliminary baking a loosely poured layer of friction material onto a steel supporting base, additional compaction of the baked layer of friction material, sintering, impregnation with varnish and drying. Additional compaction is carried out by pressing the disk with a force of up to 2.5 t/cm2. Additional compaction and impregnation with varnish allows you to give corrosion resistance to the product, increase the density and mechanical strength of the friction material.
EFFECT: increases wear resistance.
