FIELD: ceramic industry.
SUBSTANCE: production of ceramic pigments. A method for obtaining a pigment for coloring ceramic products includes mixing the initial components, grinding, annealing, quality control, weighing and packaging, and the wastes of vanadium production and the enrichment wastes of ferruginous quartzites of the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly (KMA) are used as initial components, which are mixed at a ratio of 1: (4.3-4.4), respectively, and then dry grinding is carried out, after which the mixture of initial components is annealed at a temperature of 820°C for 2 hours to form a phase of Jacobsite MnFe2O4 that gives the pigment a black color, and dry grinding is carried out for 0.5 hours.
EFFECT: acceleration of the pigment production process and reduction of power consumption.
