FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely ophthalmology, and can be used in cataract surgery to remove tightly adhered and fibrously altered remnants of lens masses from the surface of the posterior capsule of the lens. To do this, when performing viscodissection using a sterile disposable aseptically syringe filled with viscoelastic “Provisk” with a cannula, which is buttressed with a blunt-ended part with an outer chamfer against the transparent part of the posterior capsule at the border with the adhered and fibrous-altered lens masses with simultaneous feeding viscoelastic into the capsule bag, and with the help of scraping movements, they are removed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce the risk of intra- and postoperative complications caused by traumatization of the posterior capsule of the lens by using a sterile disposable cannula with a blunt-ended part with an external chamfer.
