FIELD: production of pellets.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system for the production of pellets and a method for controlling the air flow during the production of pellets. The system includes a grate system and a rotary kiln. In the grate system, a drying section by air blowing, a drying section by air suction, a first preheating section and a second preheating section are successively provided. The second preheating section is in communication with the exhaust gas outlet of the rotary kiln through the first conduit. The device for preventing the formation of air channels is located between the first preheating section and the second preheating section. A movable air duct prevention device is additionally provided between the PH section and the TPH section of the grate system, and the air pressure in the TPH section is adjusted to be greater than or equal to the air pressure in the PH section by changing the position of the air duct prevention device, to prevent the problem of an increase in NOx content in the off-gas of the TPH section due to the formation of high NOx off-gas air ducts from the PH section to the TPH section.
EFFECT: ultra-low NOx emissions.
