FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: field emission current control device comprises a high-voltage power source, a field-emission cell with a tip, to which a transistor current stabilizer is connected in series, containing a high-voltage transistor, a reference voltage source, the first and second resistors. The reference voltage source is connected between the common bus of the power supply and the gate of the transistor through the first resistor, and the second resistor is connected between the source of the transistor and the common bus of the power supply.
EFFECT: simplification of the study of the current-voltage characteristics of field-emission cathodes, ensuring the constancy of current extraction from field-emitters, the stability of the thermal state and increasing the durability of field-emitters.
