FIELD: electronic technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic technology, in particular to the creation of cathode-grid knots with auto-emission cathodes for vacuum electronic devices, including microwave devices with microsecond readiness time. The cathode is discrete electrically isolated formed auto-emitters and a grid electrode with holes forming auto-emission cells together with auto-emitters.
EFFECT: providing the ability to control the value of the auto-emission current from a discrete cell of the CGK during its operation, the ability to adjust the potentials of individual cathode auto-emitters relative to the grid to restore the cathode’s operability when the cell parameters change during operation, increasing the service life of the CGK.
