FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: following are presented: polypeptide constructs capable of binding and neutralizing ligands of transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β), methods for their preparation and the use of these polypeptides for the treatment of disorders associated with the expression or activation of TGF-beta, such as cancer and fibrotic disorders. Also nucleic acid molecules encoding any polypeptide constructs, vectors containing nucleic acid molecules, compositions for inhibiting TGF-β, transgenic cellular hosts for the production of a polypeptide construct are presented.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain polypeptide constructs capable of binding and effectively using them for the treatment of disorders associated with the expression or activation of TGF-beta.
