FIELD: cooling of casting machines.
SUBSTANCE: secondary cooling device of a continuous casting machine for metal products (P), in which each metal product (P) is cast, held and fixed along a motion path (X). The secondary cooling device comprises a plurality of cooling units located in series one after another along the continuous casting machine. Each node comprises a plurality of cooling devices (17), each of which is equipped with one or more nozzles (18) located along the motion path (X). Cooling devices (17) of each assembly (G) are located next to each other to cover a width at least equal to the maximum width of a metal product (P) that can be cast in a continuous casting machine.
EFFECT: variable supply of cooling water with equipment that is easy to operate and not bulky.
