SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to treat hypothyroidism in calves. Calves at the age of 1 month are orally administered with Abioiodoselen with water for drinking at a dose of 2 ml/l of water every other day for 30 days in combination with the introduction of Abiopeptide feed additive orally when fed with milk or its substitute at a dose of 1 ml/kg of body weight once a day for 30 days.

EFFECT: invention provides replenishment of alimentary iodine and protein deficiency, elimination of microelement deficiency, normalization of hormonal and hematological blood parameters.
