FIELD: veterinary science; medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary medicine, namely to therapy. Hydropeptone-plus preparation in dose of 1 ml/kg of body weight is injected subcutaneously to sheep from 1 to 30 days of age on the first, seventh and 15th day of treatment in a combination with oral introduction of the Abioiodselen Plus preparation. Sheep older than 11 months is administered in dose of 2 ml, diluted in a litre of water, every second day for 30 days, starting from the second day of treatment. Abioiodselen Plus preparation is administered orally with milk or milk substitute in dose of 0.2 ml/kg of body weight to young animals aged 1 to 30 days.
EFFECT: method provides replenishment of alimentary iodine and protein deficiency, elimination of deficiency of microelements and vitamins, normalization of hormonal, haematological and biochemical parameters of blood, which in its turn promotes increase of meat and wool productivity of animals.
