FIELD: thermal power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: sources of thermal power generation on solid fuel with automatic mechanical control of thermal power. The mechanical thermostat contains a drive lever, a drive bar and an adjusting screw, a support bracket, an active element and an intermediate bar. The support bracket is attached to the furnace casing. An intermediate bar with a base plate is placed on the bracket on the axis. On this bar on the axis there is a drive lever with a thrust plate, on which an adjusting screw rests, connected through a threaded connection to the base plate. The drive bar rests at one end on the intermediate bar, and at the other end is fixed on the end of the active element, the other end of which is fixed on the furnace body. In this case, the active element can be made of a duralumin plate or rod, and the drive bar can be of variable length.
EFFECT: expanding the field of application of a mechanical thermostat by increasing the amplitude of the working stroke of the actuating element (damper drive) while ensuring high adjustment accuracy and the necessary force on the damper drive.
