FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for refining liquid aluminium and its alloys during continuous casting of ingots from aluminium alloys. Device comprises a housing with inlet and outlet channels, covered with a tight cover, inside of which there is a buffer capacity in the form of the receiving channel and a vertical lined working chamber in the form of distributing cylindrical channel which are hydraulically connected to make communicating vessels, around lower part of the vertical lined working chamber there are coils of a magnetohydrodynamic turbulence promoter. Circular barrier is made in its upper part on the inner surface in front of the output channel. Magnetohydrodynamic rotator is located on the outer surface. Branch pipe of vacuum system and dosing container for flux are introduced into the working chamber through the cover.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of light and heavy impurities removal from metal melts.
