FIELD: nanomaterials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electron-beam technology for obtaining nanosized materials, namely, to obtaining brass nanoparticles. The method includes placing a copper ingot in the central zone of a two-zone graphite crucible, and a brass ingot in a peripheral zone of a two-zone graphite crucible. Irradiation of the copper ingot is carried out with a continuous stationary focused electron beam to ensure the evaporation of zinc by transferring heat from the copper ingot to the non-irradiated brass ingot through the graphite wall of the crucible and simultaneous evaporation, mixing and condensation of copper and zinc vapours in an inert gas flow in a freeze dryer.

EFFECT: providing a condition for the formation of homogeneous brass nanoparticles with a uniform distribution of elements and high purity.
