FIELD: pipeline transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to eliminate pipeline accidents without stopping the transportation of the medium. In the method of eliminating leaks, on the surface of the pipeline previously cleaned of mechanical impurities, parts of the repair clamp are installed, which contain radially directed channels with an upper threaded part having a diameter greater than the diameter of the channel, and holes perpendicular to the channels with rotary valves installed in them, having perpendicular valve axes holes, the diameter of which coincides with the diameter of the channel in the part in which the hole for installing the valve is made. Then, a rotating head of a hydraulic syringe is screwed into the upper part of one of the channels of the repair clamp, with the help of which high-temperature sealant is pumped under pressure into the channel and into the space surrounding the opposite upper threaded part of the channel adjacent to the surface of the damaged pipeline. After filling the channel and the specified space with high temperature sealant, the valve is rotated ninety degrees, blocking the channel, and the rotating head of the hydraulic syringe is unscrewed from the upper threaded part of the channel. Next, the rotating head of the hydraulic syringe is screwed into the upper threaded part of the adjacent channel and high-temperature sealant is pumped into this channel, according to the principle of pumping into the previous channel, which is subsequently also blocked by a valve. Further, in a similar way, high-temperature sealant is pumped into subsequent channels and spaces adjacent to the surface of the pipeline until the leakage is completely eliminated.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability and durability of the elimination of leaks in pipelines.
