FIELD: organic chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing esters of β-aminopropionic acids containing gem-dichlorocyclopropane or 1,3-dioxolane fragment. The method includes Mannich condensation under microwave radiation for 1 hour to obtain aminomethylmalonates, decarboxylation of the resulting aminomethylmalonates at a temperature of 150°C for 1 h in dimethyl sulfoxide in the presence of lithium chloride and water.
EFFECT: method allows you to get esters of β-aminopropionic acids containing gem-dichlorocyclopropane or 1,3-dioxolane fragments, with an increase in the yield and quality of the product with a decrease in reaction time.
