FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of biological insecticides for forestry and agriculture based on a new strain of cytoplasmic polyhedrosis virus (CPV), pathogenic for Siberian silkworm (SS) larvae, which are a dangerous pest of larch forests. The strain VTsPSSh-01 of the Siberian silkworm cytoplasmic polyhedrosis virus Dendrolimus sibiricus Tschetw, used to obtain an insecticidal preparation and deposited in the state collection of pathogens of viral infections and rickettsiosis of the FBSI SRC VB "Vector" of Rospotrebnadzor under the number V-1109. The insecticidal drug against the Siberian silkworm contains in 1 ml of solution: a suspension of the strain VTsPSSh-01 of the virus of cytoplasmic polyhedrosis of the Siberian silkworm Dendrolimus sibiricus Tschetw according to claim 1 with a titer of 2–6×109 polyhedra/ml; glycerin 0.05–0.1 ml; potassium sorbate 1.0–2.0 mg; sodium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose 5.0-10.0 mg; ascorbic acid 0.6-0.8 mg; water — the rest up to 1 ml.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of the fight against Siberian silkworm (SS) larvae, a dangerous pest of larch forests, and a preparation based on the said strain.
