SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of determining the oxidative potential of cells using bichromatometry. The method involves determining the oxidative potential of blood cells and tissues of various organs with the preparation of histological preparations of blood and animal organs, and their staining for 5 min in a 5% solution of 1,2-naphthoquinone-4-sulfonate (1,2 HX4C) based on 96° ethyl alcohol.
EFFECT: invention is effective for assessing the toxic effect of bacterial lipopolysaccharides (LPS) on the body.
