FIELD: medicine; reconstructive surgery.
SUBSTANCE: in the donor area on the abdomen next to the postoperative scar, two equal-sized opposite U-shaped skin-fat flaps are formed, the bases of which are parallel to the postoperative scar. The width and length of the flaps are equal to the length of the wound defect. The flaps are mobilized from the vertices to the base, displaced towards each other, and their opposite skin edges and subcutaneous tissue are sutured together in the area of the bases. Donor wounds formed on both sides of the bases of the flaps are sutured. The distal sections of the U-shaped flaps sewn together are sutured to the edges of the wound defect of the Filatov stem, forming an additional feeding leg of the stem.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the plastic reserves of the defective Filatov stem and prevent ischemic complications during its migration.
