FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the formulation of metal-oxide-carbon composite materials suitable as catalysts in organic synthesis reactions, in particular for the thermolysis of ammonium perchlorate. A catalyst is claimed for the thermolysis of ammonium perchlorate in the form of a metal-oxide-carbon composite material using technical carbon black after pyrolysis of used tires, characterized in that it comprises a carbon base and metal oxide, while the carbon base is a technical carbon black in the form of a crushed fraction up to 1 mm, obtained by pyrolysis of used tires and characterized by an ash content of 10.1-15.8 wt.% and a sulphur content of 1.0-2.7 wt.%; and the metal oxide is copper oxide and/or nickel oxide and/or cobalt oxide and/or iron oxide introduced in the form of a solution of metal nitrate/solutions of metal nitrates in 10% nitric acid into technical carbon black during impregnation for 15-120 min at a temperature of 650-800° C and heating rate to this temperature of 120-600° C/h, wherein the metal nitrate solution/metal nitrate solutions in 10% nitric acid are copper(2) nitrate solution and/or nickel(2) nitrate solution and/or cobalt(2) nitrate solution and/or nitrate solution iron(3) in nitric acid, whereas the catalyst includes as follows in terms of dry matter: carbon base - technical soot after pyrolysis of used tires - 70-95 wt.%; the specified metal oxide 5-30 wt.%.
EFFECT: proposed catalyst provides high catalytic activity of the catalyst, narrowing the temperature range in which the main thermolysis reaction takes place.
