FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing metal-oxide-carbon composite materials used as catalysts in organic synthesis and thermolysis reactions. As a carbon base, technical soot is used in the form of a crushed fraction with particle sizes of less than 1 mm, obtained from the pyrolysis of used tires and characterized by an ash content of 10.1-15.8 wt.% and a sulfur content of 1.0-2.7 wt.%. This soot is impregnated with a solution of metal nitrate (or a mixture of solutions of metal nitrates) in nitric acid to obtain a suspension. The suspension is kept at room temperature for 30-180 minutes, then heated in the reactor at a speed of 120-600° S/h up to temperature 650-800° C in an inert non-oxidizing atmosphere. Maintain in an inert non-oxidizing atmosphere at this temperature for 15-120 minutes until the composite material is obtained. Moreover, as solutions of metal nitrate in nitric acid, a solution of copper (II) nitrate, and/or nickel (II) nitrate, and/or cobalt (II) nitrate, and/or iron (III) nitrate in 10% nitric acid is used. When impregnating technical soot with a mixture of solutions of metal nitrates in nitric acid, the latter are taken in a mass ratio of 1:1.
EFFECT: obtaining a metal-oxide-carbon composite material with high yield.
