FIELD: ceramics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of ceramic products based on aluminium oxide, in particular the protective element of the gamma ray logging system of rotary controlled systems. The method includes: wet grinding of oxides of aluminium, silicon, magnesium and calcium, taken in a mass ratio of 95:3.5:1.3:0.2, drying and sintering according to specified heating conditions. The cake is crushed with the addition of surfactants – oleic acid in the amount of 1-1.5 wt.% by weight of the cake; products are formed by hot injection moulding of a thermoplastic ceramic suspension prepared from crushed cake with the addition of paraffin in an amount of 13-14 wt.% of the mass of cake with surfactant. Heat treatment of products is carried out in the air atmosphere of the furnace in two stages: at the first stage, annealing is carried out by stepwise heating: up to a temperature of 180 ± 5°C, 300±5°C, 1200±5° C, exposure for one hour at each specified temperature; at the second stage, the product is sintered at a temperature of 1700±5°C at the heating rate of 5°C/min, and exposed for 2 hours. When adding particles of low-modulus hexagonal boron nitride with a size of 1-2 microns to the cake in the amount of 3-5 wt. % by weight of the cake with surfactants, heat treatment of products is carried out in a vacuum atmosphere of the furnace at a pressure not higher than 6.65·10-3 Pa.
EFFECT: products are resistant to aggressive media, hydroabrasive wear and high static breaking loads, and permeable to ionizing radiation.
