SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the production of biofertilizers and organomineral fertilizers based on humic acids. The method for the quantitative determination of humic acids in sapropel includes placing sapropel samples in bottles, after which they are placed in an oven preheated to 105°C for 8 hours. Then the sapropel samples are crushed and sieved to a monodisperse state. The separation of humic acids takes place in a device for parallel evaporation. To do this, a sample of sapropel is placed in test tubes, filled with 0.1 M HCl in a ratio of 1:10 and lowered into an insulated glass cylinder filled with water, which serves as an analogue of a water bath. A vacuum generator is connected to the apparatus to pressurize the system. The control joysticks set a constant maximum temperature of 95°C and an average speed of the orbital movements. Evaporation lasts 2.5 hours, after which the supernatant is removed by centrifugation. The precipitate of the test sample is poured into 1 M NaOH until the pH of the medium reaches 13 for complete dissolution of humic acids. The solution is stirred in a mechanical stirrer for 1 h, then the precipitate was separated by centrifugation. The supernatant is examined for the quantitative content of humic acids by spectrophotometry at a wavelength of 350 nm.
EFFECT: improving the method for isolating and determining the content of humic acids in sapropel.
