SUBSTANCE: device for capturing a cylindrical interbody implant includes a fixed jaw provided with a protrusion, rigidly connected to a guide rod with a handle, and a movable jaw installed with the possibility of rotation relative to the fixed jaw with a hook at the end bent towards the protrusion of the fixed jaw. The guide rod is made with a longitudinal axial cavity and on its side opposite to the fixed branch, a handle and a volumetric element for closing and opening the jaws are mounted with the possibility of rotation around the longitudinal axis of the longitudinal axial cavity of the guide rod without the possibility of horizontal movement. The volumetric element for closing and opening the jaws has a screw thread inside the cylindrical cavity which continues the longitudinal axial cavity of the guide rod. Inside the longitudinal axial cavity of the guide rod there is a rod, one end of which is connected to the movable jaw, and the other end is made with a screw thread and screwed into the screw thread inside the cylindrical cavity, continuing the longitudinal axial cavity of the guide rod, a three-dimensional element for closing and opening the jaws. The protrusion of the fixed jaw is made with a pair of parallel longitudinal walls on the sides, between which a pair of parallel longitudinal plates is suspended on the transverse axis, formed on the hook of the movable jaw, made with parallel through grooves, in which the side ends of the additional transverse axis rigidly connected to the rod are located.

EFFECT: invention provides increased accuracy during implant installation, increased ease of installation, for example, improved visibility of the surgical field during implant positioning in an interbody defect, reduced trauma, expanding the range of instruments for surgical treatment of fractures and pathological processes of the vertebrae by installing implants.
