METHOD OF ANTERIOR SPONDYLOSYNDESIS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B17/56 A61F2/44

Abstract RU 2696924 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Method of anterior spondylosyndesis involves CT scanning of the patient's spine, determining the required dimensions of the telescopic implant and its adjustment, increasing its size to achieve optimal spinal deformation. Prior to surgical intervention, magnetic resonance imaging of the patient's spine is performed, the results of which are used to construct a three-dimensional spinal model, from which the physical dimensions of the actual telescopic implant and the bed for its placement are virtually determined. Parameters of spinal flexibility and ability to distraction are determined. According to the obtained parameters, a telescopic implant is prepared, including its filling with bone material or bioprocenter. Immediate surgical management of the patient's spine is started, during which, according to predefined parameters, a bed is prepared, in which a pre-prepared telescopic implant is inserted and started to be elongated by rotation of the stem, overcoming spinal resistance. When the telescopic implant reaches the predetermined length on the model, further increase of its length is stopped and fixing the telescopic implant with antimigration screws, the location and direction of screwing of which are pre-determined on the model. Wound is sutured in layers.

EFFECT: invention provides accelerated implementation of spondylosyndesis.
