FIELD: medicine, cardiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine the risk of cardiovascular complications in patients with abdominal obesity with a stable course of coronary heart disease, complicated by chronic heart failure II–III class, who underwent myocardial revascularization. Body mass index, serum leptin concentration, high molecular weight adiponectin, interleukin-6, serum insulin, low density lipoprotein cholesterol are determined. The prognostic risk index for cardiovascular complications is calculated using the following formula:
F = –0,401⋅P1+1.799ЧP2+0,411⋅P3+0.116⋅P4+0.164⋅P5+1.051⋅P6–6.899, where
Р1 — BMI (kg/m2), if BMI<30 kg/m2 Р1=0; with BMI≥30 kg/m2 Р1=1;
Р2 — blood serum leptin (ng/ml): with values ≥12.8 ng/ml in men and ≥20.8 ng/ml in women Р2=1, otherwise Р2=0;
P3 — high molecular weight adiponectin in blood serum (mcg/ml): with values <1.7 mcg/ml in men and <2.0 mcg/ml in women P3=1, otherwise P3=0;
Р4 — interleukin-6 in blood serum (pg/ml);
Р5 — insulin in blood serum (µIU/ml);
P6 — low-density lipoprotein cholesterol in blood serum (mmol/l). If F>0, the risk of developing a cardiovascular complication is predicted within four years. If F<0, no risk of cardiovascular complications is predicted for four years.
EFFECT: method provides the possibility to predict the risk of developing cardiovascular complications within four years after myocardial revascularization in patients with abdominal obesity with a stable course of coronary heart disease complicated by chronic heart failure of grade II–III by evaluating the claimed predictors of the development of cardiovascular complications in patients with high cardiovascular risk, using the original mathematical formula.
