DEEP WATER JET PROPULSION Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC B63H11/00

Abstract RU 2798792 C1

FIELD: shipbuilding.

SUBSTANCE: jet devices with a mechanical addition. Deep water jet propulsion contains a water jet wheel with a vertical axis of rotation, consisting of a cylindrical water intake hub, to which tubular water channels are connected. The ends of the water channels are bent in opposite directions on the diameter of the water wheel and have nozzles for narrowing the passage section of the water channels. On the outer surface of the nozzles, cone nozzles are fixed with thin walls so that an annular gap is formed between the outlet of the nozzle and the smaller inner hole of the nozzle, while the flow area of the water channel from the water intake hub to the nozzle decreases. The water intake hub is attached with the lower end to a vertical hollow shaft, which is installed either in a strong housing of a mobile underwater vehicle, or in a hermetically sealed solid housing of a stationary installation. The water intake cavity of the hub is opened and closed by the main and discharge valves by means of the valve stem, which is installed inside the vertical shaft and has a rod displacement drive. The driving bevel gear is fixed to the vertical shaft of the water wheel. When installing a jet device on an underwater vehicle in the longitudinal plane of the vehicle with a driving conical wheel, the driven wheel is engaged, which is mounted on the input shaft of the multiplier with a planetary gear. The output shaft of the multiplier is connected by a coupling to the input shaft of the distribution unit. The block contains conical and cylindrical gears, which are connected by couplings to the propeller shafts for stabilizing the hull of the underwater vehicle and the movement of the vehicle. In this case, the propeller shaft for stabilizing the body of the underwater vehicle is installed in its transverse plane, and the propeller shaft for the movement of the underwater vehicle is installed in its longitudinal plane. In the transverse plane of the underwater vehicle with the drive bevel gear of the vertical shaft of the jet wheel, driven wheels are engaged, mounted on the input shafts of two units, consisting of a multiplier with a wave gear and an electric generator, one of the generators also operating in the electric motor mode. The flexible multiplier wave transmission wheel is made in the form of a ring, on the end of which barrel-shaped teeth are cut, interacting with straight-sided teeth of four sectors connected to the transmission drive shaft by parts of the double gear clutch elements, except for the drive shaft clutch element, made whole. In this case, the wave generator of the flexible wheel is connected to the output end of the electric generator shaft by a double gear coupling. During stationary installation of a jet device with a sealed durable housing, the driving bevel gear of the vertical shaft of the jet wheel engages with the driven wheels fixed on the input shafts of at least three units, consisting of a multiplier with a wave gear and an electric generator.

EFFECT: high efficiency of the jet device is achieved.
