FIELD: silica gels.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of sorption materials based on covalently modified silica gels. A method is proposed for the preparation of silica gel covalently modified with thiosemicarbazone groups by reacting silica gel containing a covalently immobilized fragment with an aldehyde group and thiosemicarbazide in an ethanol medium by heating at 80°C for 1 hour in the presence of a catalytic amount of hydrochloric acid.
EFFECT: expanding the range of sorption materials based on silica gels.
