FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing sorption materials based on covalently modified silica gels, which are used as materials for solid-phase extraction, catalyst supports, phases for different types of chromatography, solid-phase reagents. Disclosed is a method of producing silica gel with covalently immobilized hydrazide fragments, which involves functionalisation of 3-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)propyl-silica gel by reaction with ethylchloroacetate in a medium of boiling acetonitrile for 12 hours followed by hydrazinolysis of the formed ester with a hydrazine hydrate in a medium of boiling ethanol for 3 hours.
EFFECT: wider range of sorption materials based on silica gels, covalently modified with hydrazide groups, used as multipurpose solid-phase materials, mainly for extracting various substances from solutions.
