FIELD: military.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio guidance of self-propelled projectiles, in particular to the homing of air-to-air guided missiles. The technical result is to increase the range of the missile in the conditions of masking and simulating interference. The claimed method consists in the fact that on the missile carrier, using an auxiliary radar, the direction to the target is preliminarily determined and a probing signal is formed in the direction of the target in order to provoke its jamming stations to emit an interference signal, which is used to guide the guided missile.
EFFECT: increased range of the missile in the conditions of masking and simulating interference.
