FIELD: polygon automated equipment.

SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to thermal targets-simulators of real objects. The essence of the claimed invention is as follows. The target unit comprises a target shield made of foil plastic, a mechanism for lifting it, a support device, as well as a heating inductor placed in it with a mechanism for adjustable longitudinal movement inside the cavity of the support device. The target shield is made of two parts pivotally connected along the vertical axis, the upper surface of the support device is made with a through longitudinal groove, the heating inductor is placed in the support device with the magnetic poles oriented in the horizontal direction perpendicular to the direction of its movement. On the upper surface of the support device, guide elements can be installed for folding parts of the target shield when lowered before heating. The mechanism for lifting the target shield provides positioning of its plane in the open state at an angle of 75° to 80° to a horizontal surface.

EFFECT: reducing the energy consumption for lifting the target shield.
