FIELD: dry magnetic separation.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in ferrous metallurgy and other industries for magnetic separation of fine bulk materials. The magnetic separator for fine bulk materials includes a cylindrical body open at the bottom and closed at the top with a cylindrical-conical receiver of a larger diameter installed coaxially with it from below with a non-magnetic fraction unloader, connected from above by means of a branch pipe with a cyclone, which is connected to a fan, and the fan is connected to a bag filter, vertically installed magnetic system that creates a magnetic field, the gradient of which and the magnetic force are directed along the normal to the working surface of the magnetic system, a device for supplying the separated product. Inside the cylindrical body, a hollow sleeve is installed coaxially with it, the outer surface of which along the entire height is made in the form of a multi-threaded screw thread with a horizontal upper surface and a lower surface of screw cut-outs directed downwards. In the lower part of the hollow sleeve and coaxially with it a cylindrical-conical receiver of a larger diameter with a magnetic fraction unloader is installed. The magnetic system in the form of a cylindrical magnet is installed inside a hollow cup and is provided with a rotation drive from above. The device for supplying the separated product is made in the form of a cylindrical housing installed coaxially with it, a cylindrical-conical flow distributor closed from above, communicating with the internal space of the housing through slotted holes in the housing at the level of the lower conical part of the flow distributor, tangentially connected in the upper part to the nozzle of the pressure fan, above which has a bunker with an unloader of the separated product, connected to the nozzle of the pressure fan.
EFFECT: increase in the quality of the magnetic fraction with a high extraction of a valuable component into it.
