FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: manufacture of electrical machines, mainly asynchronous motors. When installing the package of stator laminations of the electric motor in the frame, the frame is heated by lowering a flexible inductor on the frame into its cavity and heating it to a temperature of 190-220°C for 10 minutes, followed by turning off the induction heating unit and removing the flexible inductor on the frame, after which a package of stator laminations is placed in the heated frame with a transitional fit, which, due to thermal expansion from the set temperature of the frame, does not require pressing.
EFFECT: improving the quality of the connection of the stator laminations and, consequently, the service life of the electric motor.
