FIELD: production of pigments in the ceramic industry.
SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining the pigment includes firing of the original component, grinding and dispersion control. Waste of vanadium production is used as the initial component, the firing of which is carried out at 600°C for 2 hours, and then dry grinding of the pigment is performed in a planetary mill for 0.5 hours. If the composition of the waste vanadium production contains 17.39% by weight of MnO and 2.81% by weight of V2O5 a purple pigment containing Mn2V2O7 is received.
EFFECT: accelerating the technological process of obtaining pigment while reducing energy consumption.
