FIELD: pipeline construction.
SUBSTANCE: device is intended for clamping and welding pipes in the construction of metal pipelines, in particular pipelines built on land, for example, for the delivery of gas or oil. The welding head (12) is made with the possibility of its rotation relative to the support part. Welding torches are distributed along the circumference of the crown with the possibility of welding at least part of the joint area. The hinge (28, 29) ensures the deviation of the welding head relative to the longitudinal axis (X) of the device and is made with the possibility of its fixation in the plane (PR), which is deflected relative to the plane (P1) of the clamping of the first clamping means and is determined by the plane of the distal end of the first pipe, and ensuring the rotation of the head in this plane.
EFFECT: device ensures that the alignment of the clamping means is maintained, the internal geometry of the weld is improved, which contributes to an increase in fatigue resistance and a decrease in the risk of cavitation.
