FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a new colour reversible thermal indicator and can be used for visual control and indication of temperature conditions and measuring the temperature fields of surfaces in various processes. A reversible thermochromic indicator based on hexa(isothiocyanato)chromate(III)diaquatris(nicotinic acid) europium(III) 1,15 hydrate is claimed, which has the ability to reversibly change colour when heated to a temperature of 130°C
EFFECT: making a reversible thermochromic indicator easy to manufacture and use in practice, as well as stable during storage, non-toxic and odourless.
