FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related in particular to a method for controlling an automated parking system and a device for its implementation. The device includes the first data acquisition module used to collect graphical and radar data around the vehicle using sensors, a neural network module used to input graphical and radar data into a given convolution neural network model and receiving from it parking place information, a "Park" action selection module used to select information about the final parking place from the general flow of information about the parking place in accordance with the received command to select a parking place, a trajectory selection module, a measurement module, and a functional category determination module.
EFFECT: possibility of early search near the car for a parking place is achieved, which increases the comfort of the user while driving.
