FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: proposed nutrient medium for determining the sensitivity of microorganisms to antibacterial medicinal products contains acid hydrolyzate of casein, meat extract, bacteriological agar, sodium chloride, divalent magnesium salt, which is magnesium sulfate in the following ratio of components in wt.%: 10–12 of hydrochloric acid hydrolyzate of casein; 11–14 of meat extract; 12–15 of bacteriological agar; 1.2–1.4 of magnesium sulfate. The fact that the proposed formulations of the medium are used as part of the nutrient medium allows, through the development of a rational qualitative and quantitative composition, to improve the quality of the nutrient medium, namely: to increase bacteriosensitivity, phage sensitivity. Also, the proposed nutrient medium has a wide range of applications for the isolation of any kind of microorganisms.
EFFECT: its use is especially effective for setting antibiotic sensitivity and sensitivity to bacteriophages due to the balance of the component composition of the medium.
