FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microbiology and biotechnology. Method for the selective isolation of Lactobacillus spp. from clinical material. Method includes the cultivation of crops of lactobacilli in two stages: on liquid nutrient medium "MRS broth for lactobacilli", additionally containing sodium hydrogen phosphate and polyvalent purified pyobacteriophage, and at the second stage, Laktobakagar medium diluted with distilled water to 1,000 ml is used for reseeding.
EFFECT: method provides the selectivity of the isolation of Lactobacillus speciales autostrains and an increase in the biomass yield of lactobacteria due to the inhibition of the growth of concomitant opportunistic microorganisms.
