METHOD OF DIAGNOSING THE OBJECTIVE NATURE OF NOISE CAUSED BY COMPRESSION OF THE AUDITORY NERVE AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF NEUROLOGICAL PATHOLOGY OF THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B8/08 A61B5/55

Abstract RU 2800248 C1

FIELD: medicine, neurology.

SUBSTANCE: if there are complaints about noise in the head or one ear, an otoneurological examination is performed using neuroimaging and ultrasound methods for studying blood flow through the vessels. In the presence of pathology of the main vessels of the head (MAH) in the form of anomalies, tortuosity or hypoplasia of the vertebral arteries, a vertebrogenic decrease in blood flow in the vertebral artery (VA), as well as impaired venous outflow through the internal jugular veins, MR cisternography is to be performed. If there are pathological changes in the form of vascular loops in the internal auditory canal or in the lateral cistern of the pons in the form of an intimate location of arteries or veins to the vestibulo-auditory nerve with signs of a neurovascular conflict or neurovascular interaction, such noise is considered objective, due to compression of the auditory nerve by a vessel or fuzzy differentiation VII and VIII cranial nerves against the background of neurological pathology of the central nervous system in the form of intracanal neurinoma, or the initial manifestation of circulatory failure in the vertebrobasilar system (NPNK in VBS), or Meniere's syndrome.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the reliability of the diagnosis of the objective nature of the noise caused by compression of the auditory nerve against the background of neurological pathology of the central nervous system.
