FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: diagnosis of central ischemic vestibular disorders is carried out by otoneurological examination using vestibulometry. And if after otoneurological examination there is asymmetric vestibular excitability of labyrinths without hearing disorder or symmetric hyperreflexia of vestibular function with predominance of nystagmus in direction towards ischemic focus, cerebral blood flow is additionally examined for CT perfusion with 4D-adaptiv software. Method then includes comparison of cerebral blood flow in regions of interest on left and right: cerebellum and rear compartments of occipital lobes. And upon detecting decrease in blood flow in rear ends of occipital fraction or lower sections cerebelli or on right or left from standard and opposite area of interest, central ischemic vestibular disorders are diagonised.
EFFECT: method provides more accurate diagnosis of central ischemic vestibular disorders due to high sensitivity and specificity of method, possibility of evaluating cerebral blood flow to microcirculatory level and quantitative measurement of parameters of cerebral blood flow in out-patient conditions, as well as a fast and simple analysis.
