FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device and method of plasma exposure to biological tissue. The device comprises a high-frequency alternating voltage (HF) generator with various adjustments, a tool connected or attached to the generator and having at least one electrode for generating plasma on it, and a control device. Moreover, the tool has a different ability to ignite the plasma and/or a different ability to maintain the plasma. To detect the plasma characteristic on the tool, a plasma sensor is connected to the generator and/or to the tool which monitors the quantities characterizing the state of the plasma and/or their change in order to recognize the impending interruption of the plasma and to prevent it. When an unreliable ignition pattern and/or unreliable plasma maintenance is present, the control device adjusts the generator to provide increased plasma ignition capability of the tool and/or increased plasma maintenance capability of the tool, thereby ensuring reliable ignition and reliable plasma maintenance.
EFFECT: obtaining a device for plasma impact on biological tissue.
