FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an apparatus and a method for plasma activation of a liquid for use on a patient. Plasma (30) is generated by means of plasma generator (34). Liquid (F) is brought into contact with plasma (30) in device (25) of plasma action and liquid is supplied to tool (11). During and/or after exposure to plasma on liquid in device (25) of plasma exposure by means of sensor device (36) at least one chemical or physical parameter of liquid (F) is recorded. Control device (19) connected at the input to sensor device (36) and at the output to plasma generator (34) controls the operation of plasma generator (34) with respect to the amplitude coefficient or the shape of the curve of the current output by it or the voltage output by it depending on the recorded parameter of the liquid (F) for the effect on said parameter. Thus, it is possible to obtain a plasma-treated liquid (F) with given characteristics for treating a patient.

EFFECT: plasma discharge control in order to obtain liquid with specified parameters.
