SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for biological tissue treatment, in particular to instruments for coagulation and ablation, which provides electrical energy effect on tissue. A device for biological tissue coagulation contains a probe having a body and at least one electrode located in the probe body with the ability to supply electrical voltage to it. The probe body is equipped with at least one light-conducting device connected to an optical measuring device, which is made in the form of an optical interferometric device intended for measuring distance and providing emission and reception of light near the electrode. The probe body has at least one fluid channel connected to a gas source. The electrode is located in the fluid channel, and the measuring device is configured to determine the distance from the probe to the tissue.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve control over the process.
